Healing From Within:

Fostering connection, nurturing self-compassion and embracing embodied practices.

Kintsukuroi

An art form of repairing broken ceramics which treats the breakage and repair as part of the history of an object instead of something to hide. Because the ceramic is rejoined with gold lacquer, the object is considered more beautiful for having been broken.

I don’t believe you are broken. However, it can feel this way because of the impact of early childhood wounds, oppression, and other adverse life experiences. Also, we live in a deeply messy world that is not designed for the neurominority, leading some of us to believe we ‘aren’t enough’ or are ‘too much.’

Ethos & Mission

The ethos of KINTSU is to provide depth oriented relational care by offering a space that cultivates a deeper connection with your authentic self. A space where your story is honoured, your pace is respected, and your resilience is nurtured.

Your therapy will have a personal mission which will be respected. It may grow or transform throughout the healing process.

You Can Expect …

  • A space to express what’s on your mind and in your heart

  • Compassionate self-discovery to uncover who you truly are beneath the expectations, roles, and wounds you’ve carried

  • To identify and learn from the different parts of you that feel overwhelmed, fearful, and stuck

  • Tools to nurture stillness and ease through the mind-body connection

“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
