Let’s Connect
Feel free to contact me for a free 20-minute, no-pressure consultation so I can get a sense of your needs, share my approach, and answer any questions you may have. I am a big believer in helping you find the right therapeutic fit. I can provide you with referrals if my approach doesn’t feel aligned with what you’re seeking.
*If you require immediate mental health support please call or text 988 or head to your nearest emergency department.

I offer both. In-person sessions can offer a chance to connect in more of a fully embodied way. Many prefer connecting in the office for what feels like a more intimate experience for them. However, some enjoy online sessions because they are most comfortable in their own space, enjoy the ease of not commuting, and get to introduce me to their pets! There is flexibility here.
-
The first session’s focus is on co-creating a space that respects communication styles, sensory preferences, and nervous system rhythms. You’ll be invited to share what you are comfortable with, while I focus on understanding your story and listen for patterns and strengths.
It is important that you feel supported right from the start. If you need accommodation during sessions such as having the camera off, taking micro-breaks, or moving your body, please let me know at any time. Water, tea, a weighted blanket and sensory items are available in the office.
-
I accept e-Transfer and credit card payments. Payment is expected at the end of each session. A receipt will be emailed to you once payment is received.
-
Please contact your insurance provider to determine if seeing a Registered Psychotherapist is covered by your benefits. If so, you can use the receipt I provide following each payment to submit to your insurance provider. I do not bill insurance companies directly. However, I am a registered provider with the NIHB program through Indigenous Services of Canada.

No. I specialize in relationships and attachment, but I only work with individual adults.

The length of therapy is variable. It can be influenced by a variety of factors such as the strength of the therapeutic relationship, the fit of the therapeutic approaches being used, and personal factors. Healing isn’t linear and deep healing of old wounds requires a slow and steady pace.
-
Determining frequency is a collaborative process. Factors such as finances, goals, comfort level, and availability require consideration. Meeting more frequently in the beginning is beneficial in order to build rapport and it helps me to understand your goals and needs. Weekly or biweekly sessions are recommended when engaging in deep processing.
