You are still whole, even in the waiting, the unknown, and the heavy overwhelm.
Your grief is valid — your loss matters.
Experiencing the emotional, physical, and financial complexity of infertility can be so very challenging. I support clients by helping them process the multiple layers of grief and loss. I can help navigate the trauma that can come from needing to rely on the healthcare system for something so incredibly important, yet it can feel so out of reach. I can provide support to gently explore different paths if needed and to feel grounded, informed, and in control when making important choices.
The infertility and loss journey can be particularly isolating, even when in partnership, as its impact significantly varies. Not only can it create relational strain, infertility and loss can greatly impact self-worth. Feeling as though one’s body has failed them and/or that they are ‘not good enough’ is a common experience.
Many experience the painful contrast of well-meaning but hurtful remarks from loved ones or strangers, and the constant, unspoken reminders that growing a family appears effortless for others. I can assist you in navigating the hope and pain that are often intertwined. I would be honoured to hear your story and hold space for you.
